The World Universal Exhibition Expo 2010 started its work in Shanghai on May 1, 2010.

Russia is a regular Expo participant and it is the first time when we are among those countries which built their pavilions at the Expo territory by themselves. Every day thousands of Expo visitors become our guests. On the ground floor of the Russian pavilion visitors have an opportunity to see the latest scientific and technological developments of the biggest state corporations, Rosnano, Roscosmos and Rosatom, changeable expositions of Russian regions, familiarizing visitors with innovative projects and their centuries-old history and original culture, bright and unusual models of ideal cities based on children's pictures.

The slogan, "A better city, better life," was implemented in the Russian pavilion as the quest for a better city for children. The designers of the Russian pavilion were inspired by a phrase of the children's writer Nikolay Nosov, "A better city is the one where children are happy," and created a colored, magic City of Talents on the first floor of the exposition, and turned a dream of every child and grown-up into reality. This fairy-tale city, which has become true will be waiting for guests at the Russian pavilion of Expo in Shanghai for half a year.
